Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Laboratory at King's College Hospital
Laboratory overview
The therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) laboratory at King’s provides a comprehensive monitoring service for a range of antipsychotic drugs, tyrosine kinase inhibitors and azole antifungals.
The laboratory current offers assays for:
- Antipsychotic drugs including; clozapine, norclozapine, olanzapine, amisulpride, sulpiride, risperidone and 9-hydroxyrisperidone and aripiprazole and dehydroaripiprazole
- Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) including; dasatinib, nilotinib, imatinib, and norimatinib
- Triazole antifungal drugs including; fluconazole, itraconazole, hydroxyitraconazole, posaconazole and voriconazole
- The antibiotic teicoplanin and anti-epileptic drug lamotrigine are also offered
