Synnovis operates out of over 60 routine and specialist laboratories from which we deliver our world-leading pathology and testing services. We provide our services to our partners, the NHS, and private sector organisations both in the UK and internationally. Our work with colleagues in the King’s Health Partnership and the pharmaceutical and medical industry leads to a continuous stream of new tests and improved diagnostic strategies for clinical teams. In pure research terms, our contract research and clinical trials services provide new tests for diagnosis, and companion diagnostics for new medicines – providing a test development pathway for the diagnostic tests of the future.
Around the clock, scientific and clinical staff at our laboratories at Guy’s, King’s College, and St Thomas’ Hospitals are helping our customers meet their challenges.

Since Lord Carter’s review in 2008, there has been significant change in the delivery of NHS pathology services. Synnovis was the first venture of its kind to address the Review’s key recommendation: to integrate the skills of multiple hospital trusts into a smaller number of expert, outsourced pathology services.
From our three sites in London, we deliver an outsourced pathology service utilising our combined scientific, operational and transformational skills and experience, to NHS hospitals around the UK.
