Roohi Khan
Roohi started her scientific career for The Royal Free Hospital as a registered Haematologist, covering all aspects of Haematology. She also worked at the Blood Transfusion Service (Tooting, London) for a few months.
In 1991, Roohi joined Medical Toxicology Laboratories and worked her way up to head the Drugs of Abuse Service for over 20 years. Whilst at St Thomas’ Hospital she also played a senior role for 3 months in the department in Immunosuppressant monitoring.
In 2011, St Thomas’ Hospital Drugs of Abuse Service was consolidated with Kings College Hospital and she continued to run the Drugs of Abuse service for 1 year at KCH before moving to Trace Elements SAS Laboratory where she worked for 5.5 years, during which time she has successfully completed Quality Systems Management online module at Greenwich University in 2016.
Roohi joined the Toxicology Therapeutic Drug Monitoring department in October 2019.
