Dr Sarah Belsey PhD

Sarah joined the department in 2009 and is currently the Principal Clinical Scientist within Toxicology at King’s College Hospital. She oversees both routine analysis and research within the therapeutic drug monitoring and drugs of abuse sections. She completed her PhD in 2018 which focused on the application of high-resolution mass spectrometry for detection of drugs of abuse. Her research to date has been focused on analysis of drugs of abuse, but has also included aspects of therapeutic drug monitoring, forensic toxicology and trace metal analysis.
