Description: 
Tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) is measured in serum as part of the CY19 panel of cytokines. CY19 is composed of the following analytes: IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 & TNFα.
Clinical details: 
The CY19 cytokine panel is used in various clinical scenarios including aiding identification and treatment of hyper-inflammation syndrome (cytokine storm).
