Description:
Sample is forwarded by virology staff to reference laboratory and clinical advice is provided by microbiology staff.
If part of the travel related geographic panel, then PCR for acute cases are performed at RIPL, Porton Down but serology is performed at Leptospira Reference Laboratory in Hertfordshire.
