Description: 
Flow cytometry analysing IgG binding to donor T and B lymphocytes from peripheral blood, lymph node or spleen.
Clinical details: 
In solid organ transplantation the presence of HLA donor specific antibodies is associated with an increased risk of graft loss and graft dysfunction. Flow cytometric (FCXM) crossmatch tests are used to identify HLA donor specific antibodies. A crossmatch test is performed in deceased kidney, kidney pancreas transplantation and pancreatic islet transplantation.
