After working as a post doctoral research scientist in the cell cycle regulation area for 8 years Nicholas became involved in the study of myeloproliferative disease (MPD). He joined King’s College Hospital Trust to set up a diagnostic service analyzing mutations in MPDs.
In 2008 an opportunity to lead the haemato-oncology molecular diagnostic laboratory arose and his laboratory now provides a range of molecular diagnostic services to the Viapath JV.
Nicholas is registered with the HCPC and a Member of the British Society of Haematology.
