We currently offer a wide range of metabolic tests including biogenic amines and markers of excess of alcohol intake.
We provide an efficient and fast turnaround service and have a team of highly qualified clinical scientists to provide clinical advice and result interpretation. Our services are used by a wide range of organizations including internal and external Hospitals, GPs, Trials, Research and Development organizations.
Key Features:
- As a tertiary referral centre for Adrenal tumours at King’s, we attend a weekly meeting of Adrenal multiple discipline team (MDT) in the investigation process for patients with suspected endocrine disorders and for monitoring and treatment of patients with known disease.
- We provide Carbohydrate Deficient Transferrin, a chronic excessive alcohol intake marker for Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency (DVLA) and a wide range of Laboratories in UK.
- We also provide Ethyl Glucuronide and Ethyl Sulphate, acute markers of excessive alcohol intake.
- We continue working on new innovations to deliver novel mass spectrometric assays for routine clinical diagnostic use.
